Tartan Blanket Co. is a modern approach to an iconic Scottish product. With sustainability close to their heart, Tartan Blanket Co. works with family run artisan makers in India and Mongolia to create ultra-soft and warm blankets to cosy up with.
Recycling wool can be a challenge as the fibres can be too short to respin. The Tartan Blanket Co have come up with a solution, to blend recycled wool with longer mixed fibres saved from landfill to create a soft and durable yarn, which is woven in a dense twill weave and brushed for texture. All the benefits of wool, in a sustainable blanket! What’s more, they’re even machine washable.
Composition: 70% recycled wool, 30% mixed fibres saved from landfill.
Dimensions: 140cm x 190cm, including fringing.
