Marketing Coordinator

Koskela is looking for a full-time marketing coordinator to join our team.  

This is a newly created role that will provide support to both the marketing manager and graphic designer. We are looking for a candidate who will be comfortable working across both graphic design and marketing comms. Experience in both is not necessary, but aptitude and a willingness to learn is desired. 

The small marketing team at Koskela services a diverse business and the role will be highly varied. Support is required for some important administrative tasks, which would suit a highly organised and systems-orientated individual.  

Graduates or candidates with 1-2 years’ experience are encouraged to apply for this role. It’s an exciting opportunity to get broad experience in marketing for a fast-paced, innovative and well-respected furniture and design business. 

Role requirements: 

Content Production 

  • Identify stories that will interest our audience and write Journal posts 
  • Layout Journal posts with copy and images 
  • Assist with Koskela’s social media: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest 
  • Manage acquiring Contract project photography 
  • Assist with photoshoots. 

PR & Events 

  • Ensure Koskela’s media database is accurate and up to date 
  • Send journalists high-res images as requested 
  • Lend a hand to coordinate all Koskela events including sending out invitations. 

Impact & Sustainability 

  • Identify and execute sustainability initiatives on behalf of the marketing team in accordance with Koskela’s environmental goals. 

Administration 

  • Assist with organising and tagging Koskela’s image library 
  • Manage Club Koskela sign ups into EDM and CRM databases 
  • Resize images for the e-commerce team 
  • Chase outstanding assets for product launches  
  • Ensure all Koskela collection product information is correct and accurate on the contract and public website 
  • Organise all marketing material for the showroom, including reordering 
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding marketing requests. 

 Design 

  • Produce ‘shelf talkers’ - signs for the showroom that tell the story of the products
  • Produce any signage requested by the retail team 
  • Edit and review Canva presentations for the team. 

 Bonus points 

  • Photography skills are also highly desirable

Industrial Designer

Koskela is looking for a solid mid-weight Industrial Designer to join our team.

The role 

Our small and hardworking industrial design team is seeking an Assistant Industrial Designer who is genuinely aligned with Koskela’s values. 

The role involves producing high quality and accurate 3D renders and 2D drawings within agreed timeframes and in accordance with the Koskela style guides. 

Outcomes: 

  • Koskela products are accurately documented on time for client sign off and for production. 
  • Koskela products are beautifully rendered for clients and for Koskela marketing materials.

  • Industrial design / integrated product design qualification 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modelling and manufacturing documentation, Solidworks and Rhino  
  • Demonstrated proficiency in photo-realistic concept rendering. KeyShot and/or V-Ray 
  • Adobe suite competency. 

Bonus points: 

  • Experience designing for mid to high volume furniture production 
  • Interiors visualisations.

Inventory and Stock Controller

You will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing retail stock deliveries to the Koskela showroom, including our online store orders. This role requires a high level of accuracy in stock and inventory management, in addition to ensuring we deliver outstanding customer service for all Koskela deliveries. 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Assisting with online web orders including picking and packing orders, dispatching, showroom pickup and delivery 
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders including receiving and invoicing to match supplier invoices, unpacking, barcoding and handling discrepancies if any 
  • Track all showroom and online shipments and address any delays or issues immediately with online team 
  • Act as the conduit between retail team, operations, external suppliers and customers 
  • Liase with suppliers regarding missing or damaged items 
  • Maintain accurate records internally of all incoming and outgoing deliveries  
  • Maintain a neat and orderly stockroom including storage and warehousing of products, rubbish disposal and replenishing packaging  
  • Restock and replenish showroom stock and advise potential inventory stock-outs and assist with re-orders where necessary 
  • Assist retail team with showroom duties including minor repairs and maintenance, cleaning the space, merchandising and handling of stock 
  • Coordinate and assist with regular inventory stocktake 
  • Suggest improvements for shipping, packaging and inventory management to consistently improve the way we deliver outstanding customer service 
  • Assist retail showroom customers with deliveries to their car  
  • Adhoc duties as requested by the retail team.
