This print is four women dancing at a ceremony at Dhanaya (my homeland). They are dancing in the rain.
Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Centre is the Indigenous community controlled art centre of Northeast Arnhem Land located in Yirrkala, a small Aboriginal community, approximately 700km east of Darwin. The Print Space is one of the Australia's premier print studios specialising in limited edition works on paper produced on its own press.
Please note this etching is hand screenprinted in the Yirrkala print space with imperfections that are part of the work.
