Photos with Santa

On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December, we are doing Santa photos a little differently at Koskela.

At Koskela we are proudly Australian and Santa really embraces this when he visits our store.

This year he will be dressed as an Aboriginal stockman of yesteryear. He will wear an Akubra hat, RM Williams boots, a flannelette shirt and jeans.

• Bookings are available on Saturday 1st December 1-4pm and Sunday 2nd December 10am-1pm

• Bookings are five minute slots

• You only need one booking per group. Within your five minute slot you can do a couple of shots. For example a photo of Santa with the kids, as well as a photo with the whole family

• Pets are welcome

• Select your favourite photo for the 10x15cm print

• All other high res digital photos will be sent to your nominated email address

• The total cost is $35 + booking fee.

Every Christmas, Koskela has a theme that celebrates an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and their art centre. This year, we have partnered with Tangentyere Artists and are having a Town Camp Christmas.

Town Camps are Aboriginal settlements in Alice Springs where the residents have relocated from throughout Central Australia to access the amenities of a city.

Despite the sometimes difficult conditions there is a strong sense of community in the Town Camps and Christmas is a time when everyone comes together in a joyful celebration.

In keeping with our Town Camp theme, Santa will pose for photos in an outback setting with a festive feel.
