The Yakka Desk is a robust, purpose-built solution for senior school classrooms — designed to support flexible learning, collaboration, and student independence. Inspired by the Yuggera word “Yakka” (meaning “work”), the desk is built to handle the rigours of daily classroom use with warmth, playfulness, and flexibility.

Constructed from a combination of durable metal and timber, the frame is powder-coated in colours inspired by the Australian landscape, and can be re-powder coated over time to extend its lifespan. 

This is a genuine pre-loved Koskela piece, inspected and resold to extend its life. It includes our 7-year Rehome Warranty, along with ongoing access to our Repair & Renew program.
