The Jacob Sofa is a fresh, playful take on the classic lounge chair — combining extreme comfort with a bold, modern silhouette. Its circular tubular steel base, available in Koskela’s signature powder coat colours, creates a sculptural outline in contrast to the softness of the sofa.
Designed for workplaces, education lounges, and collaborative breakout zones, Jacob balances statement design with practical comfort. Cushions feature a durable foam core wrapped in a plush feather surround, providing support for long-form sitting while maintaining a soft, inviting feel.
Available in single, 2 seater and 3 seater with mid-back or high-back options, Jacob is also suited to open-plan environments where acoustic comfort, focus, or visual privacy are key. The higher back adds a cocooning element — ideal for semi-private work, quiet moments, or creating zoning within a shared space.
A distinctive chubby piping detail echoes the frame’s curves and enhances the tactile aesthetic. The removable covers ensure easy care, refresh, or reupholstery over time — extending the product’s life and reducing environmental impact.
