PBS stands for Pretty Bloody Simple — a name that reflects the straightforward construction: solid timber legs, a steel connector, and a tabletop. This pared-back design allows for easy specification across different projects while maintaining a consistent aesthetic.
Originally designed in 2011, the PBS system has been widely used across workplaces, education settings and homes, valued for its adaptability and reliable construction.

The PBS Coffee Table combines natural timber with powder-coated steel, offering a balance of durability and visual warmth.
- Legs – Available in round or rectangular profiles, made from solid pine (finger-jointed) with whitewashed, stained or solid finishes
- Connector – Steel bracket, powder coated in a range of colours to suit different interiors
- Tabletop – Available in laminate, timber veneer, engineered timber or compact laminate
- Shapes – Round, square, rectangular or custom configurations available

Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee this lead-time for customers living in non-metro areas and Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Before purchasing a furniture product please make sure we can get it into your home! We provide the dimensions for all furniture products. Check these against the measurements for your doorways, stairway and/or elevator. We can only deliver above the ground floor if there is access to a lift, enough safe space access, or if the item weighs less than 75kg. Koskela can’t be held liable if your product can’t be delivered into your home.
