Jim Outdoor Chair – Stackable, All-Weather Seating for Patios and Gardens
The Jim Chair is a durable outdoor chair designed for everyday use in backyards, courtyards, balconies and entertaining areas. Originally developed as part of Koskela’s Jim outdoor furniture family, it was designed in 2017 as an outdoor evolution of the Jake Chair, carrying across the same clean, minimalist lines in a format suited to Australian conditions.
The slender tubular steel frame has a light visual profile but is intentionally weighted for stability, helping the chair stay in place in windy outdoor settings. The gently curved seat and optional backrest are shaped for comfort and feature a distinctive perforated pattern inspired by Koskela’s K logo.
These perforations are not only decorative — they also allow rainwater to drain through the seat, reducing water pooling and helping the chair dry more quickly after wet weather.
Each chair is stackable, making it easy to store when not in use or to clear space for outdoor gatherings. The frame is finished in a durable powder coat suitable for exterior use.
Powder-coat touch-up paint and protective weather covers are supplied with each order to support ongoing care. If required over time, the steel frame can be re-powder-coated, allowing the chair to be refreshed rather than replaced.

Care & Maintenance: Your Jim outdoor furniture is designed to withstand the elements, but a little TLC goes a long way in ensuring its longevity. Each Jim purchase includes a touch-up paint and cover for added protection.
If you notice any chipping or signs of rust, promptly apply the touch-up paint to prevent further damage.
Always remember to cover your Jim furniture when exposed to direct outdoor elements to shield it from potential rusting. However, before using the cover, ensure that your furniture is completely dry, as covering wet furniture can increase the risk of rust formation. By following these simple steps, you can keep your Jim outdoor furniture looking as good as new for years to come.
