Jim Bench — Durable, Outdoor Seating with All Weather Performance
Part of Koskela’s Jim outdoor furniture family, the Jim Bench was designed to complement the Jim rectangle table and spans its length to comfortably seat 2-3 people.
It is a robust, visually distinctive seating solution made for commercial outdoor environments, including education campuses, hospitality terraces, and urban public spaces. Designed in 2017 as an evolution of the iconic Jake Chair, Jim carries forward its minimalist design DNA — reimagined for all-weather performance.
Made from textured powder-coated steel to withstand the elements, The slender tubular steel frame is both lightweight in form and intentionally weighty in structure — designed to stay put in windy conditions. The seat and optional backrest are gently curved for comfort and feature a signature perforated pattern inspired by Koskela’s K logo. These perforations are more than just a visual detail — they also allow for rainwater drainage, helping reduce maintenance and eliminate puddling.
Powder coat touch-up paint and weather covers are included with every order to extend the product’s life. When needed, the entire stool can be re-powder coated, offering a cost-effective and environmentally conscious alternative to replacement.
