About this product
Boab Coffee Table — Striking Visual Statement for Contemporary Workspaces
The Boab Coffee table is a refreshed evolution of Koskela’s original Boab design, now available in bold, monochrome solid colour finishes for a striking visual statement in collaborative and meeting environments.
Taking its name from the iconic Australian Boab tree (Adansonia gregorii), the design embodies strength, grounded form, and generous proportions — qualities that translate into a table built for high-use environments. Its circular shape encourages natural interaction, making it ideal for breakout spaces, informal meetings, shared dining, or project tables.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, The innovative four-part drum base is made from powder-coated steel panels joined around a central frame, providing exceptional strength and stability while remaining lightweight and modular. This also allows for straightforward transport, installation, and part replacement — extending the table’s service life.
Every component of the Boab Table is repairable or replaceable, ensuring ongoing functionality, minimal waste, and a reduced environmental footprint over time.

Supports First Nations peoples and communities
Koskela is deeply committed to reconciling with our First Nations history and cultures.
One of the ways we do this is to create income earning opportunities for First Nations artists and makers through collaborative design projects. This generates an income independent of Government, helping artists to continue to live a life they have chosen to lead and maintain their traditional practices. It also facilitates artists to access markets outside the traditional art markets, enabling them to tell their stories and showcase their cultures to a broader audience.
