Wait, what is recycled wool?
Waverley Mills collects timeworn blankets and offcuts from the factory floor, which are shredded and spun into recycled yarn. This is used to make new blankets and, in our case, a cosy beanbag!
And who are Waverley Mills?
Australia’s oldest working textile mill is located in Launceston, Tasmania. Waverley Mills locally sources the finest quality wool, alpaca, mohair and cotton to make a range of soft furnishings with a lifetime guarantee.
The survival of a historical icon
After teetering on the edge of closing, find out how Waverley Mills got its groove back.
