It's StoryTime at Koskela!

Looking for something to do with the Juniors on a Thursday morning? Well, have we got a treat for you. We’re very excited to announce our first ever Koskela StoryTime! For a gold coin donation (with all profits going to the ALNF) you can curl-up with your littles on a Koskela beanbag and hear some of Australia’s top authors and illustrators read their own book to your kids, in our Rosebery store. We’re kicking it off with author Hilary Bell reading from her best-selling picture book, Alphabetical Sydney. Her collaborator, illustrator Antonia Pesenti will be reading from her brand new board book, Rhyme Cordial, with kids invited to make their own RhymeZine afterwards.
Join us for a morning of fun with our friends over at Wholefoods House providing delicious and healthy snacks for the kids. Because it’s early and we know you can’t have a sleep-in, each adult will receive a free coffee or tea voucher that can be redeemed at any cafe in the cannery precinct, from our friends at Three Blue Ducks to Welcome Dose. Because, well Coffee!
Entry to Storytime at Koskela is a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the ALNF. One lucky kid will win a copy of Rhyme Cordial as a door prize plus a free family pass to see Alphabetical Sydney: Creative Lab, an interactive children’s exhibition now on at Museum of Sydney.
About the Authors
Antonia Pesenti is an architect and illustrator. Hilary Bell is an award- winning playwright. Antonia and Hilary have been friends since they met in Paris 20 years ago. Their friendship turned into a collaboration when they created the bestselling Alphabetical Sydney together. They enjoyed the process so much that they have continued to collaborate, celebrating the beauty and charm of the ordinary in our urban environment.
