Cattle Station Christmas

Christmas has arrived at Koskela!

The theme this year is Cattle Station Christmas. It is inspired by the Christmas exhibition, which launches on 13 November, and features canvases and sculptures by artists from Ngukurr Arts, Tangentyere Arts and Keringke Arts.

These art centres are located in the Central and Western desert regions of Australia and have a proud Aboriginal stockman history. The artworks explore life on the land from the First Nations perspective.

Gift Wrapping

Koskela has licensed some of the exhibition artworks to feature in our Christmas campaign.

Cowboy Santa by Doris Thomas of Tangentyere Artists adorns our gift tags, which will be included when you opt for gift wrapping for your Christmas gift purchases.

Gift wrapping is $3.50 per parcel. For the first time we are offering a calico gift bag to wrap gifts, which we hope will be reused for gifting to another friend. The bag is adored with words of love from the language of the Darug people, who are local to Western Sydney.

What’s Coming This Christmas

As we cautiously emerge from the Sydney lockdown, we hope you can visit us soon. Koskela has moved out of our Rosebery premises and will shortly open the doors to our exciting new retail concept in a jaw-dropping location.

Here, we will host our Cattle Station Christmas exhibition and launch a range of merchandise, think t-shirts, hats and tote bags, featuring cowboy motifs from the exhibition.

We are also hoping to welcome Cowboy Santa to our store for family photos, subject to the latest NSW health advice of course!

And our infamous Santa Sack overflowing with goodies and priced very reasonably will be back once again.

Make sure you are signed up to Koskela Club to stay in the loop!
