The Palsta woven rug by Sera Helsinki is part of the Saaristo collection designed by Anna Pirkola. This collection was born from a love of the sea, and Anna was influenced by the movement of the ocean which is always different, just as every rug is unique due to its handmade nature.
This handwoven wool rug has an asymmetrical edge which adds a unique spin to the design. The Laine rug is available in two colour options.
Sera Helsinki combines her roots which lie in Scandinavian design with Ethiopian craftsmanship heritage and empowerment of people. All Sera Helsinki rugs are 100% natural made from pure sheep wool utilising Ethiopian craftsmanship traditions. Sera Helsinki believe that a truly transparent design and production chain drives change for a more inclusive and accessible society.
Each rug is hand crafted and exquisite. The thread of the carpet is not chemically processed (dyed or bleached) and for this reason the colour of the carpet is natural.
