Mudai Ottoman — Flexible, Supportive Seating for Dynamic Learning
The Mudai is a purposefully designed, alternative seating option for primary school students — developed to support movement, comfort, and engagement in the classroom. Unlike traditional school chairs that limit flexibility, the Mudai enables students to sit or straddle in a range of positions, promoting self-regulation and improved focus.
Available in three sizes — Small (Kindergarten to Year 2), Large (Years 3 to 6) and Floor Cushion the Mudai is made from high-density Dunlop Enduro foam that provides the ideal balance between cushioned comfort and supportive structure. Its lightweight construction means children can easily move it around, encouraging autonomy and self-directed learning.
The triangle shape allows for seamless nesting and compact storage when not in use. For floor-based activities, a complementary diamond-shaped cushion is also available.
Upholstered in GECA-certified 100% eco-polyester, the Mudai features a removable, stain-protected cover that can be professionally cleaned or replaced over time — helping maintain a fresh look and feel year after year. Choose from four Junior accent colours inspired by the Australian landscape to bring biophilic colour theory into your learning space.
