About this product
Laptop Side Table – Lightweight, Nimble & Designed for Focus
Designed to support flexible working styles, the Laptop Side Table is a compact surface for when you’re not at a desk but still need to get things done. Whether in a breakout space, lounge area or library nook, this piece brings function without fuss.
The 5mm steel tabletop and base strike the perfect balance—sturdy enough to hold your device, but still lightweight enough to move with ease. The base is designed to slide neatly under sofas or armchairs, allowing the user to sit comfortably while working on a laptop or tablet.
This product is crafted entirely from steel and can be powder coated in any of Koskela’s standard textured colours. The textured finish is intentionally selected as it helps prevent surface scratches, making the tabletop more durable and better suited to high-use environments.
Originally developed in 2019 as part of Koskela’s Work collection, this side table has since become a versatile staple across workplace, education, and healthcare settings.

This product is manufactured in Australia. Buying Australian-made supports local businesses and jobs, supports our community, and strengthens our economy.

At the core of Koskela’s enviro conscious policy is our commitment to make high quality products, that last for years and can be repaired if something goes wrong. That's why all Koskela products come with a 7-year warranty, to ensure you have access to repairs if you ever need it.
Designed for Circularity
At Koskela, we believe design has a critical role to play in reducing waste, keeping materials in use, and lowering the overall footprint of the spaces we help create. That's why we design furniture made to last, with repair, refurbishment, reupholstery, Rehome and subscription services that extend product life and keep materials in use for longer.
Repair & Renew
One of our design philosophies is to make sure all our products are easy to repair. Manufacturing in Australia means we carry spare components, and the original maker of your product also has the skills to quickly repair it and retain the quality.

Supports First Nations peoples and communities
Koskela is deeply committed to reconciling with our First Nations history and cultures.
One of the ways we do this is to create income earning opportunities for First Nations artists and makers through collaborative design projects. This generates an income independent of Government, helping artists to continue to live a life they have chosen to lead and maintain their traditional practices. It also facilitates artists to access markets outside the traditional art markets, enabling them to tell their stories and showcase their cultures to a broader audience.
