Koskela is ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 certified!

In January 2021 Koskela achieved ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Assurance and ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management certification.

This certification provides independent verification to our stakeholders and customers that Koskela is committed to quality and improving environmental performance.

Established in 2000, Koskela has always produced quality products and minimised our impact on the environment, however as Koskela grows, we wanted to firmly embed these values in the daily running of our organisation.

The International Organization for Standardization develops standards, which they think of "as a formula that describes the best way of doing something".

Koskela has implemented two of their most popular standards:

• ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Assurance helps Koskela to work more efficiently and reduce product failures.
•  ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management helps Koskela to reduce environmental impacts, reduce waste and be more sustainable.

These standards have been developed by independent technical experts, nominated by the International Organization for Standardization's membership of 165 national standards bodies.

A long history of international cooperation makes the International Organization for Standardization one of the most trustworthy organisations in the world.

Certification is performed by external certification bodies and involves extensive auditing. The emphasis is on continual improvement, which Koskela must document in order to re-certify.

Needless to say, Koskela is proud to have achieved ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Assurance and ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management certification. Continuous improvement has been instituted within our company’s culture, and we look forward to doing better for our customers and the planet!
