Tiwi Design is one of the oldest and most artistically diverse art centres in Australia. Located on Bathurst Island, 80km north of Darwin, Tiwi Design is home to over 100 First Nations artists working across a range of mediums, including: Ochre paintings on canvas, bark, ironwood carvings, textiles, sculpture, and print. 

The aim of Tiwi Design is to promote, preserve and enrich Tiwi culture.
