Gurara Whiteboard — Mobile & Modular for Dynamic Learning Spaces
The Gurara is a versatile A-frame whiteboard designed for modern educational environments, offering flexibility, functionality, and a clean aesthetic. Mounted on four lockable castors, it’s easy to move and reposition — ideal for ever-changing classroom layouts or collaborative group settings.
The frameless magnetic surface avoids texta residue buildup and enhances functionality with optional accessories like pen holders, display shelves, and a paper roll dispenser. Both sides of the board are writable and deliberately sized differently, enabling multiple units to create flexible partitions: line them up with matching sides to form a curved wall, or alternate the sizes for a straight divider. This makes Gurara useful as both a teaching aid and space zoning solution.
Constructed from durable steel, the frame is powder-coated in your choice of Koskela Senior colours, inspired by the Australian landscape and aligned with biophilic design principles to support wellbeing and student focus.
Gurara translates to tall, and the word originates from the Dharug Aboriginal language in Sydney — a nod to its commanding presence and vertical function in a learning space.

In the eastern states and territories of Australia (NSW, ACT, VIC & QLD) the lead time in 8-10 weeks. For all other states and territories, the lead time is 10-12 weeks.
Koskela has a faster lead time than average because our products are made in Australia. If you need products in a hurry, just give us a call and we can see what can be done.

Koskela furniture can be delivered anywhere in the world and shipping will be calculated when you place an order.
Koskela has an in-house Project & Product team who will manage your delivery; providing Estimated time of Departure (ETD) updates and working with an organisation’s facilities manager or equivalent to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
For delivery and installation, Koskela uses reusable packaging, which we remove from site to keep using.

Our products are designed to be the highest standards of quality and functionality. While we believe our furniture will last as long as possible, if something does go wrong, we are here to help.
All Koskela products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under conditions of normal and proper usage for 7 years from the date of purchase—this warranty transfers to whoever owns the product. After this time, if something does go wrong, you can contact Koskela customer service and we’ll let you know if we can fix it for a reasonable cost.
