How do I register for Gifts with Koskela?

Our gift registry is an easy and free service! Visit our online store, select ‘Gift Registry’ from our Gifts section in the main navigation. Then ‘Create a Registry.’ 

When should I register?

We recommend registering 3 months prior to your wedding or big event. This will give your friends and family plenty of time to purchase gifts. 

What should I register for?

You can register for any in-stock furniture, homewares, art and rugs. We don’t offer the gift registry on made-to-order custom furniture. Make sure to register for a large variety of products, with a wide range of prices and be sure to consider quantities. 

How do I add items to my registry?

Complete the steps of creating a registry profile. Once you’ve added in all the relevant details, simply start browsing the website, when you find products you would like to include, click ‘Add to Registry.’ Remember you can alter product quantities before adding to registry. Alternatively you can alter quantities once your registry list is complete, or delete products out, the possibilities are endless. 

How do I let friends and family know I’ve registered with Koskela?

When you create a registry you can select ‘Manage Registry,’ and click ‘Share’ to send a link to your gift registry either via email or Facebook. Your guests will be prompted to login to your registry on our website, view the products listed and purchase quantities desired. 

Can I make changes to my registry after I’ve created it?

Yes! We encourage you to check in weekly to keep an eye on your registry and product availability. You can remove or add in products at any stage, change quantities, change shipping details, the title of your event and keep an eye on what has been purchased. 

How long will my registry remain active for?

Your registry will remain until after your event. Once your items have been shipped and received we will then close your registry. 

I have guests from outside Australia. Can they purchase from my registry?

Yes. International or local customers can purchase from our registry service. 

What happens if an item I’ve added to my registry becomes unavailable? 

Adding an item to your Gift Registry does not reserve that item. The gift registry acts as a wishlist. Guests will only be able to purchase in-stock items from your registry. Guests will see stock availability of items once added to their carts. We encourage registrants to monitor your account regularly. New products are added online weekly and you might want to include these in your list, as well as adding in more products when items are purchase off registry or stock is sold out. 

How do I know if an item’s been purchased from my registry?

Next to each product listed there is a ‘wants’ ‘has’ and ‘needs’ column. The quantity under ‘wants’ is the number of items you’d love. When there are quantities in the ‘Has’ column that means someone has purchased that item from your registry. If there was only 1 quantity next to the item that has been purchased, other guests will no longer be able to add to their carts. 

When will I receive my gifts?

We prefer to send all gifts from your registry at once either before or after the specified date of dispatch. Please note we recommend for weddings to choose a shipping date at least two weeks following on from the big day. If you’re going away on a holiday or honeymoon we would this ensures that you will be back home for the delivery. 

What shipping information do I need to provide?

Please select whether you would like your gifts sent before or after your event date. You can do so by filling out ONE of the shipping columns under the ‘Profile’ section of the gift registry. 

How is shipping organised for gift registries?

We like to keep things nice and simple for your guests. For all registries we require payment from the gift registrant. Your friends and families will select ‘Showroom Pickup’ to secure a free shipping method at checkout. We will store all gifts from your registry here in a safe space in our store. We will then keep a close eye on your desired dispatch date and will check in with you one week prior to organise payment of shipping. We prefer to do this on a case-by-case basis so we can offer the best price for you depending on the number of items purchased off your list. Our retail store will send through an invoice and you can organise payment over the phone or via email. Alternatively if you’re a Sydney local you can opt for free Showroom Pick-up yourself, and we can have all items ready to go for you on the desired pick-up day. 

Will my items arrive gift-wrapped?

We offer free gift wrapping for all items purchased from Gift Registries as our gift to you, to ensure the element of surprise! Please note we will do our very best to wrap all items, however if small furniture is purchased this may not always be possible. 

How do I make purchases to complete my registry?

If your event has arrived or passed and there were a few items you’d love but are still outstanding then you can simply complete your registry by adding any or all remaining items to your online shopping cart and checking out as a customer.

How can I purchase gifts from Koskela’s Gift Registry?

Gifts can be purchased online and Gift Registrants will have shared a link to their registry. You can alternatively find a registry by searching and entering the name of a registrant, and if password-protected enter the Guest Access Code provided by the registrant. 

How does the shipping work for item/s purchased off a registry?

The registrant indicates their shipping preferences when they set up their registry. We offer complimentary gift wrapping at checkout for all Gift Registry purchases. Our standard policy is for your gift to be shipped directly to the address specified by the registrant.

What do I select at checkout when purchasing off a registry?

Select the free check out option: ‘Showroom Pickup’ and we will organise the shipping cost and delivery with the registrant. 

When will my gift be sent to the registrant?

When setting up a registry, the registrant will note down their Event date and will let us know whether they would like their items shipped before, or after the event. We send all registry items together, and usually recommend for ease to deliver all items from a registry one to two weeks after an event.

Is a message included with my gift purchase?

When you checkout you’ll have the option of including an order note. This will be hand-written and included with your gift.
