In the beginning Gilaa had white feathers but after a fight with Dharri the Bearded Dragon, Gilaa's white feathers changed to pink. Gilaa makes lifelong connections and remain in the same pair their entire life. Gilaa is strong headed and a symbol of loyalty.

YinarrMaramali is a Gomeroi women's business dedicated to supporting Community and Country wellbeing through their weaving practice. Based in Tamworth, YinarrMaramali is a cultural hub and place of learning as artists weave their stories through handwoven creations and artworks. The name ‘YinarrMaramali’ means ‘made by Gomeroi women’s hands.’
