About this product
Heimo, pronounced "hey-mo", is the Finnish word for family. A nod to our Nordic roots, Heimo was its name from conception, as the brief was to design a sofa for modern families.
This is the Heimo 2 seater sofa, with timber arms upholstered in 100% cotton fabric. The materials are designed to be robust and repairable. From the solid Victorian Ash frame with zero gloss protective finish, to the covers which are a washable or dry cleanable fabric. Like all recent Koskela products, the sofa is designed to be easy to repair or refresh to keep it looking great for years to come as we aspire to create “future heirlooms” that are treasured for generations.
The bases of the sofas and chairs can be used for additional storage for things like winter blankets or items that don’t need to be accessed all the time.
