THE BEST OF AUSTRALIAN DESIGN, ONLINE.
Rachael McCully Kerwick is an abstract artist from Melbourne. Driven in her quest to create harmonious environments for the viewer that combat everyday anxieties, she combines simple forms with soothing, muted palettes in carefully balanced compositions.
“I’m highly impacted by my environment and also greatly inspired by it – whether it’s in nature or the beautiful array of colour and sharp edges found in a pile of trash… Everyday beauty often passes people by. It’s in the smallest of moments – we just need to stop and notice more.”
