The Golden Wattle (Acacia pycnantha) is Australia’s floral emblem and has long been valued by Indigenous Australians. A tree which flowers in late winter and spring, producing a mass of fragrant, fluffy, golden flowers, it is a symbol of unity, resilience and spirit of the people of Australia.
