$290

This Vase is made from hand dug local clay and wood fired in a Catenary Arch Kiln.

All Pãn Pottery pots are hand made by Angus McDiarmid using a traditional wood fire kiln, kick wheel and hand dug local clays. The pots are thrown overlooking Lake Weyba, Noosa Heads and are completely unique as the clay and fire determine the finish of the pot.

The wood firing takes place over four days with temperatures reaching over 1300°C. The magic of this process is created by the ash from the wood, as the ash lands on the pots surface it becomes the glaze! Every pot in a wood fire is completely unique!

Dimensions: Approx 300 H x 200 W (mm)

We work with home-grown ceramicists, some exclusive to Koskela to offer the best range of hand-made ceramics for your home. Our potters work hard to produce beautiful pieces for us by hand, so it’s only natural that they might vary slightly in colour and markings. But hey, isn't that part of the charm.
