About this product
Every spring and summer Ninuku women forage and glean tatu (gumnuts), quandong, and initi tree seeds from the bush, which are painted or burned to create wearable art such as necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.
All jewellery are made by hand by artists from Kalka, Pipalyatjara, and Irrunytju communities in the airid foothills of the Tompkinson Ranges. Each piece has a unique walka (design), no two are ever the same.
