The Neve kids’ desk is the daughter of the Jacinda folding desk. The desktop is the same size as the original (600mmW x 1200mmL), but the height is shorter (525mmH) making it suitable for little ones. 

This original design by Koskela is purposefully simple and straightforward. The desk ships flat-packed and no assembly is required. The clean lines are easy on the eye. When not in use it can be folded flat and stored away. 

Versatility is the aim of the game. Neve can be set up permanently for homework or used on an ad-hoc basis for craft activities.  

The original Jacinda folding desk is named after the Kiwi prime minister, Jacinda Adern, who is a major advocate for work-life balance. In 2018, Adern became the world’s second-elected head of government to give birth while in office. Her daughter’s name is Neve, so naturally this is what we called our kids’ desk. 

While the name is Kiwi-inspired, this is a proudly Australian-made desk; its manufacture supports three Australian factories and their workers. 

The sturdy steel legs are powder coated in your choice of Wattle or Eucalyptus. They lock and unlock a simple slide bolt. The white laminate top features a plywood-look ABS edge.  

Please note, a child will need the assistance of an adult to set up and fold down the Neve.
