Mungo is a unique textile company based in the South Africa, with the rare ability to create fabrics from the inception of design to the final product. All Mungo products are carefully designed and individually woven on our refurbished looms at the Mungo Mill in Plettenberg Bay. 

Mungo strives to preserve and develop the traditional art of weaving. Fair trade principles and traceability underpin their ethos and they are particular about sourcing only quality natural fibres. As part of a sustainability objective, 1% of annual sales is contributed to their Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, MOVE which seeks to protect the environment, and empower the people, of the Plettenberg Bay community.
