Kari Layton's pieces reflect an intersect between industrial elements captured in fluid movements. An interplay between masculine and feminine. Minimising the amount of components needed to make a piece to maintain simplicity to the eye and yet requiring complexity on the bench in the refinement of each piece. Her intention is to design pieces that absorb into the wearers daily experience.
