Mervyn Street, born 1950, is a Gooniyandi man. Gooniyandi is one of the two river groups from the country around Fitzroy Crossing. He was born at Louisa Downs Station. Mervyn speaks fluent Gooniyandi as well as English. Mervyn is an important person for art and culture in Yiyili and Pull Out Springs communities and is a former Chairman of Mangkaja Arts. Mervyn lives with his wife June Davis at Pull Out Springs, his own community which is 190 km from Fitzroy Crossing.

Mangkaja Arts Resource Agency is a vibrant Aboriginal owned art centre representing the five language groups of the Fitzroy Valley in the West Kimberley region of WA. Mangkaja Artists are renowned for their uninhibited style, innovation and lively use of colour, painting images of country that share stories of culture and identity.

Digitally printed on a 140GSM Certified 100% organic cotton, this raw tee features a relaxed crew neck, long body, raw sleeves and hem. The white tee is a men’s size large, but is a flattering oversized cut for women also.

All online items are available for free pick up from our Rosebery showroom. This service is available Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm. All orders must be collected from the side entrance on Dunning Avenue. Same day pick up is available if you order before 1pm. Please allow a three-hour window from when you place your order to when you arrive to collect.
