Made from speckled stoneware with a scorched, orange/rust glaze and hand carved detail. This glaze has personality and movement adding depth and nuance to the surface.
This series was inspired by the iron rich soils of the Kimberley Region and of the recent bushfires that showed natures full force.
Arcadia Scott is a full time potter working from her studio in Coburg, Victoria. Every piece she creates is completely unique and she enjoys creating clean forms, curved edges and surface textures. Arcadia creates both hand built and wheel thrown pieces and aims to create items that are functional, tactile and expressive.
